Entirely Designed and Manufactured in England, Chord Electronics has always aimed at delivering pure audio through their range of legendary DACs and Amplifiers. Their Story begins from the aviation world where they struggled to achieve uncompromised standards, which has formed grounds of the company’s philosophy ever since its inception in 1989. Their first amplifiers were supplied to BBC, followed by world-leading studios like Abbey Road, Sony Music(New York) and the Opera House.
Multi-award winner, The Chord Company has grown to become Britain’s foremost manufacturer of hi-fi cables. From HDMI leads through to high-end speaker cables, Chord is the UK’s most innovative cable manufacturer and also a highly successful exporter. Their old website did not, however, reflect the company’s position nor did it fully serve its enthusiastic worldwide customer base.
What was needed was a complete redesign, significant improvements in both navigation and functionality, and a content management system (CMS) that would allow easy updates and additions as the awards piled up.
Additionally, Chord wanted to serve their customers and dealer network more effectively and, as part of this, TJC developed a process that locates the site visitor on the globe and maps out the three nearest distributors that stock their preferred product range. It adds to this dedicated dealer pages, directions and an enquiry form, and effectively drives business to the dealer.
Staffed by a dedicated team of music fans, music makers, film-lovers and gamers, the company has grown steadily in size and stature. From a purpose-built HQ near historic Stonehenge in Wiltshire, the company has become internationally renowned for creating high-performance, value-for-money products to suit any level of system or budget.
Please note – product appearance, technical specification and guide price can change at any time with little notice, but that’s because we are constantly finding ways to improve our products. Opinions expressed here, including product performance characteristics and perceived improvements to audio and video reproduction are largely subjective, so rather than take our (or a reviewer’s) word on this, we strongly suggest you seek a nearby Chord Company retailer, arrange a demonstration with your favourite tunes and make up your own mind.
